The site where rises, the cathedral Notre-Dame of Paris, existed, as of IVe century, a basilica dedicated to Étienne saint whom made rebuild Childebert Ier of time when he was a king de Paris, towards 511. A second church built a little later which one dedicated to holy Marie, Notre-Dame.
