The rue Saint-Dominique in the 7th arrondissement of Paris is so called since 1631.
Rue Saint-Dominique, one of the rare malls of Paris with its famous permanent open-air market, surrounded by many shops and typically Parisian restaurants is ideally located in one of the most prestigious Parisian district, a few steps the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower.
Its name is from the Dominican religious who had established at that time. It replaced a road formerly known as the Long Road Raye in 1355, chemin des Vaches, chemin de la Justice and Charbonniers way.
It was distinguished for a certain time, rue Saint Dominique Saint Germain on one side and rue Saint Dominique Gros Caillou on the other side of the Esplanade des Invalides.
We propose several hotels around rue Saint-Dominique.
