The Catacombs of Paris.
Since the origin of Paris until the Revolution, all Parisians were buried in different cemeteries, initially located on the outskirts of the city according to an ancient Roman law.
Centuries after centuries, the expansion of the capital will gradually absorb its suburbs, so that by 1789, the 200 cemeteries in the city, depending on many churches no longer sufficient to contain the remains of these ancient inhabitants Paris. The victims of the plague, plagues, famines, all the past wars since the Middle Ages are based here, filed in the cemeteries, graves crammed into churches rising on several floors. Every day new bodies are added to previous ones. Churches and cemeteries are large muddy fields which combines beggars, vendors, entertainers and prostitutes.
We propose several hotels around the Catacombs of Paris.
